Truck & Ute Fender Flares
Add an aggressive look to your truck with a set of fender flares from Bushwacker
As any avid off-road driver would know, your vehicle is susceptible to plenty of bumps and scratches when hitting the road. This is only exacerbated by the large, all-terrain tyres used off the beaten track. Flares, also known as Fender Flares, are a great option to avoid the damage inflicted on your truck by the larger tyres, as they catch and refract rocks and stones, stopping them from impacting your car.
Not only will flares protect the paintwork on your vehicle, but it may also be illegal to drive without them. In most Australian states, it is illegal for your tyres to jut out from the body of your car.
Fender flares are a great addition to your vehicle and are available to most trucks and SUVs. They are a simple addition that can be easily installed and come in various styles and colours to match your truck. The addition of high-quality flares not only saves your vehicle and allows you to drive with added confidence, they also look great.
Fender flares come in three different styles, each providing a different look and serving a slightly different purpose. These variations include:
OE Style Flares are designed to mimic the look of a stock vehicle and are often low-key in design. They are often used to hide rust and protect your vehicle. The Bushwacker Front and Rear Fender Flares are perfect for those who want to blend sophistication with performance.
Bolt Style/ Pocket Style Flares are for drivers looking to make a statement. With a bold, bolted-on look and plenty of coverage, these will protect your vehicle whilst making it a real standout. EGR’s Front and Rear Fender Flares are the perfect DIY upgrade to your truck because they do not require drilling for installation.
Extended Style Fender Flares are perfect for drivers who have added larger tyres to their ute or truck; much larger than stock or the other flare styles, the extended flares give your vehicle maximum coverage. Bushwacker’s Extend-A-Fender Wheel Flares are a perfect addition to truck enthusiasts with larger tyres.
